The Centre prides itself in its friendly and relaxed atmosphere and welcomes everyone who visits the Centre.
Our Centre has been open since September 1996
and has established itself as a popular, cost-effective and high-quality facility which is open to everyone!
The Centre’s location on Purbeck Road (off Hills Road), adjacent to Hills Road Sixth Form College, makes it
ideally placed to serve the local community. You can beat the rush hour and come in for a pre- or post-work
gym session, arrange a lunchtime squash match with a colleague, meet new people through our social badminton
sessions or even use the facilities at the weekend with your family or friends. Martial arts, Pilates,
children’s activities, 5-a-side, table tennis and much more, rest assured, there is something here for everyone.

For customers with physical disabilities, wheelchair access is provided at ground-floor level to the
sports hall, the indoor tennis courts, the squash court, the cricket projectile hall and the Aspirations
fitness suite. The first floor gallery and tennis balcony are easily accessible by lift. In addition a
number of dedicated courses are available, covering sports such as aerobics and tennis, and the centre
is amenable to requests for other specialist classes.

how to find us
Turn off the M11 at junction 11, head towards Trumpington/Cambridge. Drive through Trumpington and
into Cambridge. Turn right at a set of traffic lights into Long Road. At the bottom of Long Road turn
left at the cross-roads into Hills Road. About one mile along Hills Road turn left into Purbeck Road,
which is situated just before Hills Road Sixth Form College. The Sports Centre is on the left hand side at the bottom of Purbeck Road.
