Travel and parking
The College is on the local bus routes and is in walking distance from the train
station.
Car Parking:
The College is subject to parking restrictions on site. Students, staff & visitors are therefore encouraged
to arrive at College on foot, bicycle or bus. The Babraham Road Park & Ride
service stops directly outside the College and operates during the evening. Please
contact www.stagecoachbus.com or traveline (0870 608 2608) if you require further
details of local bus services.
The following conditions apply to those students travelling to College by car:
- Disabled students are entitled to park on the rear car park of the College site,
subject to the availability of spaces. Access cards and permits are available via
the adult education office.
- Regrettably, all other students will not be able to park on the College site.
- Students, staff & visitors are encouraged to use the multi storey car park, conveniently located on
Clifton Road. The car park is a short walking distance from the College and reduced
parking rates apply after 6.30pm.
- If students choose to park in roads near the College, please bear in mind the needs
of local residents.
- Purbeck Road is a private, non-through road. This road is the access route for fire
appliances and other emergency vehicles supporting the College, local businesses
and residents. A company operates a wheel clamping service along this road to ensure
that the double yellow lines are adhered to. A non-refundable £90 release charge
applies if a vehicle is clamped.
No Smoking:
Please note that the College is a no-smoking area. Smoking is not allowed on the
main College site, the Sports and Tennis Centre, or on Purbeck Road (a private road
owned by the College). Adult students and tutors who need to smoke are asked to
do so away from the immediate vicinity of the College, thereby not causing an obstruction
at College entrances or on pavements. Thank you for your support.
